To communicate the value of Mugler's new fragrance Angel Elixir, we created a series of interactive XR installations, which digitally apply the Angel Elixir effect on visitors of Charles de Gaulle Airport, Alexa Mall in Berlin, and PEP Mall in Munich.
The AR Mirror reflects the user and applies an AR overlay in real time. This way, the brand's audience sees and feels the value of the proposed product. You can also record and download a photo or video of your experience by tapping on the screen, which gives additional brand promotion through user-generated content.
The results of our endeavour were truly remarkable. In just one month, we established over 1,000 offline engagements. Online, our filters garnered more than 10,000 impressions, captivating audiences worldwide. Our success reached new heights as the online press eagerly shared our story, with over 500,000 press case impressions, including editorials on Forbes and Vogue Business.
The mission was clear: to effectively communicate the allure of the fragrance through the seamless integration of AR, both online and offline. We accomplished this by creating an Instagram filter that flawlessly replicated the captivating Angel Elixir effect. Furthermore, we developed an exclusive AR Mirror, strategically placed in high-foot-traffic locations, allowing users to interactively experience the filter's scaling and allure. This immersive encounter enabled consumers to truly "experience the product," offering a seamless path to purchase.
Offline, our strategically positioned mirrors near perfume retail points caught the attention of passersby, inviting them to visually engage with the effect. This captivating experience enticed individuals to explore the scent further, increasing the likelihood of making a purchase.
Our creative journey fused technology, artistry, and marketing, culminating in a showcase of Mugler's fragrance. Through interactive installations, filters, and captivating user experiences, we succeeded in captivating audiences both online and offline, leaving an indelible mark in the world of fragrance marketing.
