When we launched in 2021, Campaign Lion broke the unwritten rules of film festival submission. While established studios cultivated their festival connections, independent filmmakers struggled without guidance. After hundreds of rejection letters from Top festivals, our founder decided to map the hidden pathways to festival acceptance.
Four years on, we've steered 1,500+ projects through the submission maze, achieving an unmatched track record: 100% placement for our produced and mentored films at A-list or Oscar-qualifying festivals in Europe. This didn't happen by chance. We built a database tracking successful entries across 357 festivals, identifying specific themes and tech language that resonated with programmers.
Beyond submissions, Campaign Lion transformed how emerging directors develop their craft. Unlike theoretical film school approaches, our workshops drill into practical skills. Directors learn concrete techniques for visual storytelling; producers master budget frameworks that appeal to international financiers. GIFT, a Chinese short film we represented, was first accepted by A list-film festival in 2024, then secured Canal+ distribution; the director’s first international broadcast after implementing our represents on festivals and the global market.
Campaign Lion’s platform hosts a community of 1.4 million members from China and 16 foreign countries engaging through 100+ annual live-streaming events. These aren't passive webinars but working sessions where cinematographers find directors, writers connect with producers, and real projects emerge.
Our 113 workshops and courses have reached 2,000+ filmmakers, revealing industry mechanics that previously remained hidden. Campaign Lion doesn't simply launch careers, it redistributes opportunity. Films from underrepresented regions now reach audiences previously inaccessible, proving that strategic support transforms raw talent into international recognition.
