Inspired by classic vinyl record culture, the Lanmi Nocturne Series aims to break the monotony of traditional kitchen tools, transforming food preparation and cooking into a ritualistic lifestyle experience. The design team extracted the circular form and texture of vinyl records, combining them with the mesh and knob elements of vintage audio equipment to translate auditory sensations into tangible visual and tactile forms. The cutting board mimics a record, the base replicates a turntable speaker, and the cookware incorporates the mechanical texture of control knobs. This meticulous restoration of details and harmonious style allows users to feel as though they are immersed in a soothing nocturne while cooking, redefining the aesthetics of kitchen living.
This series seamlessly integrates a creative theme with healthy cutting solutions and cooking functionality to create a coherent and hygienic experience. In the preparation stage, the design utilizes the record shape to delineate functional zones, enabling a dual-board, dual-use system with dedicated knives for specific tasks. Guided by form and visual icons, this effectively separates raw and cooked food processing, blocking cross-contamination at the source. This design not only resolves the clutter of kitchen storage but also ensures the entire set is visually harmonious and the workflow is organized, thereby elevating both efficiency and hygiene standards.
The frying pan utilizes advanced Titanium Spraying and Deep Nitriding technologies, overcoming the common pain points of rusting and the tedious seasoning process required by traditional cast iron. This achieves a unity of physical non-stick performance and rust resistance, combining the beauty of enamel with the durability of cast iron. The cutting board and knife block employ certified antibacterial materials paired with a natural ebony wood base. This combination retains the warm, organic touch of wood while providing the hygienic advantages of modern materials, ensuring performance stability over long-term use.
