Lenovo developed the AI-Driven Autonomous Service Operation Platform to address growing complexity across its global service operations and improve the speed, efficiency and consistency of support for customers. The platform supports service delivery across over 180 markets and 42 languages, with 75 contact centers, over 2,400 service centers and 24,000 field technicians.

Lenovo connects customer engagement, reasoning, autonomous execution and prevention within one integrated service operating model. Built on Agentic AI, the platform unifies enterprise systems, orchestrates intelligent workflows and enables autonomous execution across the service lifecycle. It brings together data and capabilities spanning diagnostics, engineering knowledge, telemetry, service history, warranty validation, repair-order creation, parts dispatch and predictive maintenance. Together, these capabilities help Lenovo identify issues faster, automate service tasks, predict potential failures, and make more consistent decisions.

Lenovo has reduced service operating costs by 15% and average case handling time by 20%. Today, 75% of repair orders are AI-assisted, cutting repair-order release time from ten hours to ten minutes and reducing repeat repairs by 30%. More than 300,000 support incidents are prevented annually. These operational improvements also extend directly to the customer experience by reducing unnecessary touchpoints and accelerating the path from issue identification to resolution.

For customers, this means less effort, faster resolution, improved uptime and ultimately greater confidence in their support experience. Customer effort has decreased by 50%, while device uptime has improved by 40%. Automated diagnostics accelerate root-cause analysis, recommended actions and same-day parts fulfillment, with one replacement part arriving three hours after approval. In another case, rapid resolution of a critical fleet issue restored customer confidence and contributed to a 1,200-device deal.

By connecting service operations and customer outcomes within one model, Lenovo is moving support toward a more predictive, preventive and increasingly autonomous approach. Already operating at global scale, the model provides a scalable blueprint for the future of enterprise support, moving beyond fragmented automation and traditional reactive service.
