In 2021 Innovecs faced pandemic challenges such as remote work, safety measures, healthcare activities, and whatnot. We realized that we should produce new meanings for employee wellbeing and it cannot be achieved alone, so we decided to take care of each other and focus on a sense of belonging. Innovecs launched a project called InnoClub to upgrade the way the company treats employees' wellbeing. Using surveys, we identified four key areas of employees' wellbeing needs, hobbies, and passions: physical, mental, social, financial. And launched specific communities to support them. InnoClub presents an umbrella concept — a set of 12 communities encompassing running, yoga, football, ice hockey, table tennis, tennis, fitness, esports, chess, active and extreme sports, investment clubs. Seven communities are remote-friendly, so employees can participate without visiting the office and stay in touch with community members online. Anyone can initiate their community and develop a club of interest with like-minded teammates, receiving organisational and financial support from Innovecs. Having community leads' roles occupied by employees helps showcase inspiring leadership and engage peers more actively. Employees’ wellbeing is the spine of better problem-solving, creativity, and innovation. With InnoClub, we build a culture that promotes a healthy working environment, where everyone can get inspired, make friends, and experience unforgettable moments. InnoClub entails:
– Grass-roots approach & peer-to-peer communications.
– Community leaders' system – strategy, budget owning, decision-making agreed with the lead.
– Development plans for each community and personal plans available upon request.
– A manifesto, community leaders guide, and community members' handbook – supportive materials for growing each community.
– CEO's involvement – from the onboarding video to thought leadership and leading a community.
– Integration into ambassadors program, allowing employees to gain points for their activity, which are later exchanged for gifts.
– Special swag drops and recognition elements.
From November 2021 to July 2022, we conducted 21 wellness challenges & activities, 52 online & offline meet-ups, 660 on-site & remote sports workouts, and eight digital training courses.
