Project 1:
Implemented project that involved designing and implementing a comprehensive identity and access management solution for City Colleges of Chicago (CCC). Key components included enabling single sign-on access to all CCC applications for students and staff, deploying an infrastructure to automatically manage digital identities, and setting up disaster recovery and backup systems. Using Microsoft security tools like Entra ID, Active Directory, and Microsoft Identity Manager, the team migrated user identities from Novell to Active Directory and developed custom solutions for password reset and identity management.

This project was critical for establishing a secure and reliable IT infrastructure at CCC, enhancing user experience, improving IT team efficiency, and reducing the risk of cyberattacks. It was the first of its kind for CCC, leading to significant financial investment and operational improvements.

Project 2:
University of Vermont Medical Centre Hospital Network (UVMCHN) project focused on implementing a Zero Trust security infrastructure. This new system prioritizes least privilege access and enhances security compliance with HIPAA and SOX regulations. The project was critical due to the sensitive nature of UVMCHN's data and their history of cyberattacks.

The project involved designing and implementing a security infrastructure that met UVMHN's compliance requirements and ensured the highest standards of security protocols. The solution was based on the principles of Zero Trust, enabling authentication and authorization using a least privilege access strategy. The implementation included the Active Directory Tier Model to protect identity systems using buffer zones between full control of the environment and high-risk workstation assets. The impact of the project was significant, ensuring that UVMCHN stayed secure and that any impact of cyberattacks was limited and contained using the Zero Trust strategy implemented by Microsoft
