Curated by the Shihsanhang Museum of Archaeology, New Taipei City Government, the 2026 New Taipei Archaeology Season was themed "Sustainable Blue in Progress," upgrading the original Archaeology Life Festival into a multi-month, multi-venue public cultural initiative. "Heritage into Campus" visited eight schools along the North Coast, linking local memory through Magang Stone House Settlement and Haenyeo culture. The International Archaeology Forum brought together institutions and scholars from Taiwan, Japan, and Korea to discuss marine archaeology, underwater cultural heritage, and museum sustainability.
"An Exhibition of Taiwan-Korea Dialogue on Ocean Cultures " centered on human-sea symbiosis, presenting Haenyeo crafts, shipbuilding traditions, and cross-national collaboration. The Archaeology Life Festival reached the public through museum and educational booths, interactive experiences, and performances. Finally, the "Shihsan Green Fashion X Little Tree Market" put sustainability into action through 240 booths, secondhand circulation, music, and local language promotion. The five core components were interconnected by shared subthemes, a unified timeline, and consistent visual design—allowing education, research, exhibition, celebration, and lifestyle practices to form a comprehensive narrative that expands the boundaries of public museum services.
