Leading the Enterprise Shift to Governed Agentic AI

Kunal Agrawal is advancing a leadership approach he calls governed autonomy: enabling organizations to give increasingly capable AI systems greater responsibility while maintaining clear authority, human oversight, accountability, and control.
As Founding CRO of CortexHub AI, Kunal is helping address an emerging enterprise challenge created by agentic AI. As AI moves beyond generating information to accessing data, invoking tools and APIs, communicating with customers, and executing business processes, organizations must answer a new question: not only what AI did, but was it authorized to do it?
Kunal leads governance and enterprise transformation at CortexHub while jointly shaping AI strategy. He has helped translate runtime AI governance from a technical concept into an enterprise approach centered on policy enforcement, least-privilege permissions, identity-based accountability, human approvals, and auditability. His leadership spans technology commercialization, market positioning, enterprise use cases, partnerships, and design-partner engagement, connecting emerging AI capabilities with the practical governance requirements organizations face as they increase AI autonomy. This work builds on more than 18 years across data, analytics, enterprise technology, GRC, and transformation. His career includes analytics initiatives at Tesco, multi-million-dollar data science programs for Microsoft through Brillio, and leadership of Customer Success and Professional Services organizations at Diligent supporting enterprise and public-sector customers.
Kunal also contributes to the broader AI community through engagements with IIA, ACFE, ISACA, and Customer Success Summits, helping translate AI innovation into practical approaches for responsible enterprise adoption.
His leadership philosophy is that governance should not constrain AI innovation; it should provide the trust infrastructure that enables greater autonomy. As AI increasingly performs work on behalf of people, Kunal is helping advance a future in which greater capability is matched by clearer authority, stronger governance, and continued human accountability.
