Under Janaki Ram Kiran's leadership, the team designed an innovative solution to handle over 1500 table loads, replacing the existing legacy ETL system and developed a robust ETL framework utilizing DataStage and Snowflakes tasks, which efficiently loaded data from files, DB2 and SQL servers to S3 buckets and subsequently to Snowflake.
The impact of this project was substantial. It significantly enhanced data availability and usage on the cloud, reaching approximately 13 million users. The initiative is projected to generate annual savings of 200 million dollars for the company.
