Ravi is a banking data and payments architecture leader whose work has modernized how financial institutions move, reconcile, and safeguard money at scale. He has designed canonical payment and settlement models that unify merchant, terminal, authorization, clearing, and chargeback data—enabling lossless lineage from authorization to settlement and dramatically improving reconciliation accuracy. Ravi led ISO 8583 ↔ ISO 20022 coexistence programs, instituting correlation and idempotency patterns so banks can migrate without data loss or service disruption. He built PCI-aligned analytics pipelines (tokenization, vaulting, policy-as-code) that preserve BI value while minimizing sensitive-data exposure, and he operationalized fraud/AML/KYC models via feature stores and champion–challenger governance to lift detection while reducing false positives.

Ravi’s real-time transaction monitoring fabric (CDC + streaming) delivers sub-second visibility for liquidity, cutoff compliance, and risk alerts, cutting incident MTTR and strengthening operational resilience. He has also authored post-merger canonical data strategies, authoritative data stores for treasury, and audit-ready lineage/metadata frameworks that shorten regulatory response times and reduce audit findings.

Across programs, measurable outcomes include higher D+1 close rates, fewer reconciliation breaks, accelerated partner onboarding, improved SLA adherence during peak volumes, reduced manual journals and exception queues, and demonstrably lower total cost of ownership for regulatory reporting. Ravi’s contributions set practical, repeatable patterns that banks and payment processors can adopt to achieve secure, compliant, and real-time finance at global scale.
