Abu Dhabi Customs’ Data Hub and Future Reporting Advancement (DHAFRA) is an advanced, AI-powered platform that transforms customs data into trusted, predictive intelligence for faster and more informed decisions. Developed to advance Abu Dhabi Customs’ Invisible Customs Ecosystem, DHAFRA governs, consolidates, processes and analyses data from multiple sources through a comprehensive repository built around quality, privacy and reliability.

Rather than treating data simply as a reporting output, DHAFRA turns it into a strategic and operational asset. Its AI algorithms generate accurate automated predictions, strengthen data quality, enable secure digital information sharing with relevant entities and support proactive responses to operational change. This contributes to improved customs performance, business continuity and the smoother movement of trade, supply chains and logistics.

Launched at GITEX Global 2024 within the Abu Dhabi Government pavilion, DHAFRA reflects Abu Dhabi Customs’ commitment to global leadership through advanced technologies, intelligent data governance and evidence-based decision-making. The platform supports operational excellence while helping reduce time and effort, accelerate customs procedures and reinforce Abu Dhabi’s position as a competitive destination for business and investment.

DHAFRA’s innovation and practical value have received significant independent international recognition. The project won first place in the 2024 Global Customs Innovation Award, presented by the Pan-European Network of Customs Practitioners under the “Innovations in Customs Use Today” category. It also received a Gold Artificial Intelligence Award at the 2025 Harvard Business Council International Awards.
